An international fundamentalist Islamic cell plots the mass murder of innocents during one of Sydney’s most historic marathons. In the course of trade, European-born business woman Delphine de Fleuron accidentally discovers the high end goods she imports are used as concealment for an illegal diamond trade. To save her reputation, she enlists the cooperation of her store manager, Baez Straight and long-time friend, Oscar Olsen, and begins to investigate why she has been targeted as a blind courier to finance a terrorist attack.

Trapped between two worlds, will Delphine reconcile her pledge to the country that adopted her with her allegiance towards the family that raised her or choose self preservation over altruism?
